A review score can't choose care for your joint

A score tells you only what people posted on that public page. It isn't a mark for medical care, and it can't show the cause of your soreness. The clinic still has to answer those questions.

I wouldn't spend an afternoon studying the numbers.

Call the offices that are close enough to visit. Tell them where the ache is and when it began. Ask whether someone there can examine that kind of problem. Learn who you'll see and whether the clinic wants an old X-ray, notes, or a medicine list.

The next questions are practical. Ask what the visit costs and how long it takes. Ask whether you may need return visits. One office may talk about surgery. Another may offer ordinary non-surgical care. You need plain words about what each choice involves.

This is the part worth your time.

At the appointment, ask what the exam found and what is still unknown. Learn which movement is safe, what may ease the ache, and when another check is due. Don't agree to care you don't understand. Ask again until the answer is clear.

You aren't choosing a winner from a list. You're choosing an office that answers you plainly and offers a plan you can manage. If the first call leaves you confused, another clinic may suit you better.
